For events outside regular opening hours and during weekends, a fee of DKK 1900 will be charged

“Fish-patting”

Indoor event (all year)
Duration: 1 hour
Price: DKK 600 + admission to the Aquarium
(1-hour guided tour)

The event starts with the guide bringing the group (max. 25 pers.) backstage to the Aquarium’s ‘teaching wet-board’. Here, the guide will make a presentation (45-50 minutes) of the different marine animals from Øresund (such as starfish, flatfish, lobsters, crabs, etc.). While the guide is talking, participants can touch and feel the animals.

The guide will conclude the guided tour in the Aquarium exhibition area by feeding the sea creatures in one or more tanks, where children can help with the feeding. Following this, participants are welcome to walk around on their own in the exhibition space. No food is provided, but you are welcome to enjoy your picnic at our tables and benches outside.

“The Crab Catcher”

Outdoor event (May to October)
Duration: 2 hours
Price: DKK 1200 + admission to the Aquarium
(2-hour guided trip)

The event starts with the guide bringing the group (max. 25 pers.) backstage, where each participant will make their own “crab catcher”. Everyone is then issued with life jackets and will walk together to the outer pier of the marina in Helsingør (Nordhavnen). Here the use of the “crab catcher” is demonstrated and fun facts about crabs are told while the children catch their own crabs. The guide will encourage and help the children all along.
